🧠 Why V2 is technically interesting

1. Wider + lower visual geometry

The V2 changes the visual center of gravity of the G8X. Instead of emphasizing the already-large kidney grilles, the design pushes attention toward the outer corners and lower intake area.

That produces:

Stock G8X → tall / vertically dominant

ADRO V2 → wider / lower / horizontally stretched

This makes the car appear more planted even when the suspension and chassis remain unchanged. ADRO specifically describes stronger corner definition, a lower horizontal line and a larger lower opening. 


🌬️ 2. Airflow philosophy

The larger and more defined lower openings aren’t just styling. They create more deliberate pathways for air entering the front of the car.

The important distinction is:

Bumper ≠ automatic horsepower gain.

The bumper itself doesn’t meaningfully increase engine output. Its potential performance contribution is through air management, cooling-air access and aerodynamic balance, particularly when combined with the appropriate ADRO lip and other aerodynamic components.

ADRO uses injection-molded polypropylene, rather than a conventional brittle composite/FRP-style construction. That gives the bumper a combination of:
