What it is

The GTIII-800 KIT (Part No. 11003-AN016) is a full twin-turbo turbocharger upgrade for the R35 GT-R (VR38DETT). 

It employs symmetrical twin turbines in the GTIII-RS/GTIII-RSR specification. 

Boost preset is ~88.3 kPa (≈0.9 kgf/cm²) in the shipped kit.

Potential Considerations (so you can weigh)

While these are advantages, for a full picture, some trade-offs or needs you should know:

  • Engine internals likely need upgrading to reliably handle the power (~800 ps) especially if pushing boost. Stock parts may not suffice at that power.  
  • Heat management, cooling, fuel system, and tuning are critical to make full use of the kit.

The Skunk2 Ultra Series K-Series Race Rockers are among the most hardcore valvetrain upgrades ever made for Honda K20/K24 engines. 

These are not “street comfort” rocker arms — they are engineered for high-RPM naturally aspirated drag, circuit, and serious all-motor builds where valvetrain stability above 9,000 RPM becomes critical.


Technical Philosophy — Why These Exist

Factory Honda K-series rocker systems are brilliant for street use because VTEC allows:

  • low-lift cam operation at low RPM
  • high-lift cam operation at high RPM
  • smooth drivability and fuel economy

But at ultra-high RPM:

  • the OEM multi-piece steel rocker assembly becomes heavy
  • inertia increases dramatically
  • rocker deflection and valve float become major problems
