3. PPG had beefed up the 1st gear width and the width of the accompanying gear shaft using their state of the art machinery.
4. The machined heavier gear was done for heat treatment process to harden it for better strength.
5. The accuracy and efficiency of the heat treatment process was controlled in the furnace by computer with carbon and all relevant chemicals were added precisely.
6. The process was optimize with an advance software and sensors for a perfect strengthening and hardening to happen.
