The genuine FL5 turbine is smaller than the FK8 and can provide sharp pickup in the low rotation range, but in the high rotation range above 5500 RPM, it is not possible to obtain the appropriate boost pressure.

When this happen, the intake air temperature, combustion temperature, exhaust temperature and exhaust pressure will increase. Due to this, the output will decrease. This characteristic is fatal for circuit driving.

With regard to this concern, J'S RACING has developed a tuning package that will make the bike faster and more enjoyable not only on the circuit, but also on the street, in pursuit of higher output and faster times.

First up is the turbine. Made by MHI, same as the original, it is an upgraded turbine with high output and high efficiency for better performance.

This is extremely reliable and has a proven track record as it is also used in FL5-TCR, which participates in the FIA-approved world tour, TCR world tour. 

It is a very easy-to-handle turbine that is manufactured with an estimated output of 450 PS or more and is easy to handle from low to high speeds. 

On the other hand, both FL5 and FK8 begin to run out of fuel capacity when the output exceeds 400 PS. If you try to achieve high output of 450 PS or more, it is necessary to replace the injector, high pressure fuel line, and high pressure fuel pump. 

Second is exhaust-related items. Need to be replaced due to lack of catalyst or capacity.  This tuning package aims for maximum cost performance by:
- replacing the injector 
- replacing high-pressure fuel line
- reducing costs as much as possible
- fully controlling it with HYPER-ECU, the maximum output is approximately 135 PS from full normal state to maximum output. 

Achieved an increase (actual value 290→425PS). In particular, it has achieved an overwhelming acceleration performance in the 3500-7000 RPM range, which is the usual rotation range for circuit driving.

This is truly an unparalleled tuning package that unleashes the utmost potential of HONDA's famous K20C engine.

  • Genuine catalyst and muffler. If you change the genuine catalyst to a sports catalyst or circuit converter, there is no need to change the specifications. It is thought that this will greatly contribute to reducing turbo lag, but the output characteristics will not change. However, ignition advancement may be possible due to lower exhaust resistance → combustion, and lower exhaust temperature. As a result, there is a possibility of further improving the output with the current car settings. 

**Warning/Caution
1. This product has been developed on the assumption that the vehicle is equipped with an intercooler, radiator, etc. to prevent increases in intake air temperature and engine water temperature. 

2. If these measures are not taken and installed, engine blowout and significant power reduction are expected. 

3. Please contact J’S RACING if you have not yet taken the measures.

4. The Civic Type R after September 2022 FL5 exclusive product Body number FL5-1000001 or later. Recommend replacing it at a pro shop.

5. Be sure to enter the HYPER-ECU exclusive data after installation. Please remove the current vehicle ECU and send it to J’S RACING to be installed with the data and will be returned back to you.

6. After replacement, coolant replenishment or coolant replacement will be required. 

7. After replacement, engine oil will need to be refilled or replaced.

8. Please adhere to the specified torque and install correctly.

9. If you have already installed J’A RACING HYPER-ECU, team will update the specifications to specific data for cars equipped with a turbine kit at a discount.

1. This is an all alloy radiator specifically designed for Renault Megane RS250/265/275. 

2. With the known coolant temperature issues that are attributed to the original fitment radiator, this is the only real solution. 

3. The stock Renault radiator has a major design flaw; the inlet and outlet are in a straight line across the core. 

4. At high engine rpm, when you need the most cooling, the maximum flow is straight across the core, missing out about 75% of the volume. 

5. Worse still, the 25% of the core with good flow is directly behind the crash bar and gets no direct airflow. 

6. Forge Motorsport engineers have maximised the surface area and utilised a high efficiency radiator core with a unique flow enhancement.

7. This is to ensure that the coolant passes evenly across the entire core and that the area of restricted airflow (behind the crash bumper) is well taken care of.

8. From an independent testing, this alloy  radiator had achieved a reduction of 20°C in peak water temperatures and also a drop of 15 °C in oil temperatures on track.

The G-Series G35-1050 turbocharger is compatible with 2.0L – 5.5L engine displacements and capable of producing up to 1050 horsepower. The G Series 35 turbochargers are highly efficient and will outflow all comparable products on the market.

New compressor and turbine aero combined with high temperature resistant materials allowed engineers to push the limits of performance.

Understanding the Name:G35-1050

G designates 81 years of Garrett® heritage.

35 classifies the size of the frame. The remaining 4 digits identify the max horsepower rating of the turbocharger. (ie 1050)

COMPRESSOR AERO

Forged fully-machined compressor wheel and new aerodynamics increase maximum horsepower output and boost response. 

The CFD (computational fluid dynamics) engineered compressor wheel increases air flow up to 15% for 60mm and 30% for 67mm with 79-80% efficiency. (Compared to GTX GenII)

Available in standard rotation and reverse rotation options for enthusiasts that want the perfect twin turbo installation or a single reverse rotation turbo for applications with installation restrictions.

SPEED SENSOR

The compressor housing features a fully machined ported shroud to help reduce compressor surge. A fully machined speed sensor port provides enthusiasts the option to add the new G Series speed sensor to measure turbocharger shaft speed, a key factor in determining ideal operating conditions.

The new speed sensor is easy to install and does not need to be adjusted for length like previous sensors. Simply remove and plug, then insert the speed sensor and tighten the bolt. The new speed sensor is sold separately and is not compatible with GT and GTX sensors due to the new design and sizing.

The addition of an o-ring between the compressor housing and backplate reduces the possibility of boost pressure leakage.

CENTER HOUSING

A new one-piece center housing and backplate increase durability and product safety by reducing the number of failure points associated with the turbocharger. 

The center housing to turbine housing v-band connection allows for 360 degree orientation when installing with Garrett® non-wastegated turbine housings.

WATER JACKETS

Four large water jacket ports increase cooling capacity and allow enthusiasts to customize water line routing to help improve the installation process. The turbocharger comes with two -6AN water fittings and two plugs.

*Recommended to install waterlines on opposite sides of the housing.

OIL PASSAGE

A single stage oil passage directs pressurized oil to the new oil cavity ensuring proper bearing lubrication at both sides of the cartridge.

Each turbocharger includes (1) -4AN oil restrictor fitting with a 1mm orifice to provide the turbo with the recommended 40psi of oil pressure.

ROTATING GROUP – TWIN PISTON RINGS

A shorter bearing cartridge allows us to incorporate twin piston rings on both sides of the shaft wheel assembly. This will reduce the likeliness of oil leakage at the seals from the center housing to the compressor and or turbine stage.

TURBINE WHEEL AERO

The turbine wheel features all new aerodynamics to improve flow and boost response. The new turbine wheel is made of Mar-M super alloy and is capable of handling exhaust gas temperatures up to 1050 degrees C.The new turbine wheel flows 15-20% more than GTX and has peak efficiency of 74%.

TURBINE HOUSINGS

All G Series Turbine housings are made from stainless steel to provide ultimate durability and temperature resistance up 1050 degrees C.

Internally wastegated housings are compact, efficient, and designed with maximum bypass port size to reduce boost creep and provide better boost control.

Turbine housings are available in a variety of open volute Vband configurations so be sure to order the correct part for your application.
