Collins Performance Technologies JZ to 350Z(CD009) 370Z(JK40C) Swap Kit
1. This is an adaption kit to put a 350Z/ 370Z/ VQ 6-speed transmission behind your 1JZ/ 2JZ series engine.
2. Collins Performance had combined the best manufacturers to create the ultimate twin-disc combination for the 2JZ / 1JZ engine to 350Z engine/ transmission combination.
3. Collins Performance is the only company to offer a twin disc clutch system for the 370Z and 350ZHR transmissions, with zero milling of the bell housing as a complete bolt-on kit to the 2JZ/ 1JZ engines.
4. This translates as one of the best engine and transmission combinations for an affordable price built for harsh racing use.
5. The 350ZHR and 370ZHR transmissions were made to shift at high RPM's which make them ideal for your Road-racing/ Drifting applications.
6. Collins Performance is meticulous about what Clutch friction material to select for the setup; a great coefficient of friction that results in a non harsh engagement, which results in little to no chatter for such a small diameter clutch system.
7. Utilizes a light but strong clutch basket to hold the floating components making for a really low moment of inertia for a quicker spool time on your turbo and a faster reaction to driver input.
8. This twin disc clutch system with the proper hydraulic setup will make you feel minimal clutch pedal force with a broad window of engagement that simulates close to stock pedal feel, with the ability to hold large amounts of torque.
9. Collins Performance currently running this engine/ transmission combination with this same exact twin-disc clutch system in three areas of Formula D, Pro2 and Formula D ProAm cars.
10. The swap kit includes the following pieces:
- Adapter Plate for 2JZ to 350Z Nissan Transmission A custom made CNC'd 1-piece Flywheel that requires No Milling of the bellhousing.
- A Twin-Disc Clutch pack consisting of a machined aluminum basket, 2- solid Cerametallic Nissan splined clutch discs, 1-Pressure plate, and 1-floater plate
- ARP Flywheel bolts, Flywheel adapter, Pilot bushing, Adapter plate bolts to bolt the adapter plate to the engine only.
- Clutch release bearing Adapter(for external slave 350z cd009 transmissions only).
- If you select 370ZHR (JK40B) or 350ZHR (JK40C) transmissions from the drop down menu's the kit will also come with A bearing face converter for the Concentric Slave Cylinder at an additional cost.
11. The adaption Kit does not include:
-The Stock Automatic Flexplate in the pictures is not included (you must supply this). You can use any JZ automatic flex plate, from IS300, GS300, Supra, SC300 etc. Toyota Part # (32101-22050 56907).
-The Stock Automatic Flexplate spacer. This is an approximately 3/16" thick steel spacer that goes against the crank, sandwiched between the flexplate and the crank in stock Automatic 2JZ applications. (this is required).
-Your selected transmission to adapter bolts (they are same as your existing stock 350Z or 370Z bolts, with washers and you must use a thread locker like Loctite). This adapter plate comes with the hard-to-find M12x1.25 bolts needed to fasten this adapter to the engine.
The average lead time for adapter plates is 30 days. Most adapter plates are in stock, however occasionally some adapters go out of stock.
*Note - Stage 5 Twin Disc Clutch Kit requires Automatic flexplate and flexplate spacer.
