Anderson Composites dry carbon hood for Chevrolet Camaro is manufactured using pre-impregnated carbon fiber fabric/ autoclave.
Pre-preg fabric is made by coating each specific weave with specific amount of resin to optimize its strength.
Vacuum seal will remove all air between the fabric and mold. It was then placed into an autoclave to cure at high temperature and extreme pressure (removes impurities and strengthens the final product).
Anderson Composites dry carbon parts have a matte finish (aka dry) because the resin is not coated on the surface.

Anderson Composites DRY carbon does not have UV protection, it is recommended to have it coated with an automotive grade clear coat with UV inhibitors if you do not plan to paint or wrap the part.
Hand crafted with an approximate weight of 18.2 lbs. All hoods require hood pins for safety reasons.
