Megan Racing Reinforced Engine Mounts for Mazda Miata '06-'13 MRS-MZ-0940

1. The MX-5 Miata is a superb small roadster with minimum weight and mechanical complexity.

2. The MX-5 was designed with a traditional front-engine, rear-wheel-drive layout and four-wheel independent double wishbone suspension.

3. It has a longitudinally-mounted four cylinder engine which made the car very spirited.

4. With conventional body that is very light, unibody shell or "monocoque" with a (detachable) rear subframe, this is a great car indeed.

6. The Mazda MX-5 also has a unique truss work with minimize flex that create a tight, responsive feel. Many Mazda MX-5s feature limited slip differentials and anti-lock braking system.

7. However, through the years the soft rubber bushings deteriorate after constant flexing and vibration. It will also damage due to prolong weather exposure. Teared rubber bushings may damage the transmission and engine.

8. Megan Racing has developed a Hard-Rubber/Polyurethane motor mounts for the Mazda MX-5 NC Chassis.

9. These reinforced engine mounts by Megan Racing will allow for more energy to be transferred to the wheels instead of absorbing the energy into the soft rubber.

10. With an approximate 50:50 front/rear weight balance, the car has very neutral handling, which makes it easy to drive for the beginner and fun for the advanced driver.

11. Inducing oversteer is easy and very controllable, thus making the MX-5 a popular choice for many.

12. No doubt that this exceptional design for street car but with aggressiveness and comfort being moulded together, the Mazda Miata MX-5 is at its own league.

13. Hardened Rubber utilized by Megan Racing for this reinforced engine mounts is rated at 70A durometer rating.
