The TODA Racing Sports Injection Kit 17100-B16-458 is a premium Individual Throttle Body (ITB) intake system designed for naturally aspirated Honda B-Series VTEC engines. 

It replaces the factory single throttle body and intake manifold with four individual 45 mm throttle bodies, dramatically improving throttle response, induction sound, and high-RPM airflow.

  • Throttle body diameter: 45 mm
  • Trumpet length: 88 mm (the “-458” suffix identifies the 88 mm trumpet version)
  • Fuel rail: Designed to work with the standard B16 injector spacing
  • Injectors: Not included (uses compatible injectors separately)

Required Supporting Modifications

To achieve the best performance, this kit generally requires:

  • Standalone ECU (such as MoTeC, Haltech, Link, or Hondata with suitable conversion)
  • Professional dyno tuning
  • High-flow fuel system if targeting high power
  • Performance camshafts (optional but highly recommended)
  • Free-flow exhaust header and exhaust system
  • Velocity stacks or an airbox/filter setup

Important: This kit does not work with the factory ECU and requires aftermarket engine management.  

45 mm vs. 50 mm Version

TODA recommends:

  • 45 mm throttle bodies for most street and track-day cars, offering excellent drivability and strong mid-range.
  • 50 mm throttle bodies for highly modified or race-oriented B18C-R engines operating at very high RPM.
