■ Diff lock power of 1/10 or less of metal LSD The diff lock power of carbon LSD that does not interfere with handle operation even when high initial torque is applied is very strong as you can feel, but it is less than 1/10 of metal LSD. 

The diff lock force of the metal LSD is much greater than the tire grip force and the maximum value is greater than the strength of the drive shaft and the gear with built-in LSD. 

Metal LSD needs to make the cam angle and initial torque extremely small to slow down the accelerator response in order to avoid the harmful effects of diff lock, but carbon LSD does not need it at all, so LSD is agile to the driver's operation. You can maximize the driver's ability by reacting to. 

■ Diff lock force equivalent to tire blip force The diff lock force of carbon LSD is smaller than the tire grip on dry road surface, and competes with the tire grip force on wet road surface. 

Therefore, on dry roads, the steering wheel operation is not hindered even when accelerating, and on wet roads, the differential limit can be safely controlled without losing grip by maintaining an appropriate accelerator opening. 

■ Diff lock force that persistently resists drive loss While the metal LSD has a very large diff lock force, it suddenly causes a large slip due to road surface changes and accelerator operation. 

This is due to the very large difference between the maximum static friction and the dynamic friction of the metal plate in oil. Since carbon LSD has a small difference between maximum static friction and dynamic friction, it has the property of stubbornly and continuously resisting slip. 

■ Ideal LSD that does not interfere with steering wheel operation and suppresses drive loss. The diff lock force and sticky friction characteristics near the tire grip force not only attracts the speed in races and competitions to eliminate most of the unstable factors caused by the differential of the diff, but also stabilizes the running on the highway and in rainy weather.

■ Effect of initial torque. It can be seen that the initial torque is very small with respect to the magnitude of the drive torque.
