1. This includes a pair of intake camshafts and a pair of exhaust camshafts.
Intake Camshafts : 274 Duration - 11.3mm lift
Exhaust Camshafts : 274 Duration - 11.0mm lift
2. PROCAMS are as the name says, specifically designed for professional use only.
3. Since these camshafts have aggressive cam duration and lift, additional valve train components are needed to make these work properly.
4. Depending on the engine design and the cylinder head, it may also require additional machining to allow clearance of the high lift cam lobes.
5. An aftermarket ECU is a must, as well as the upgrading of the fuel system to cope with the higher flow rates for the new setup.
6. Surface of camshaft coated with manganese phosphate to protect from damage even when the camshaft has not lubricated yet.
7. Achieved via steeping press process that produces 0.5mm to 15 micromillimeter thin of manganese phosphate coating on its surface.
8. This will prevent direct contact with other metal parts while maintaining smooth operation.
NOTE: Upgraded valve springs are required to install these camshafts on your VQ35. Also, piston to valve clearance must be checked, the high lift and duration could lead to piston / valve contact with VTC Timing advance.
